A Note from the editor...

And Welcome

December 13, 2013
Welcome to Macaroni Kid Northeast Georgia Mountains!
Christmas is in 12 days! And I have not bought 1 gift for my children.  My husband and I start out one morning and shop until we have everything on our list.  Then we go out for a nice dinner and have somewhat of a date night.  This is a tradition we have done since we were married. And I for one love it!

This past weekend our family had a one great weekend.  There is truly lots to do in our area, I hope Everyone is able to discover something new here thru this newsletter.  Last weekend we started out in Helen At their ChristKindlemarket and Kidfest.  The kids all did free crafts, free games, got their faces painted for free and got balloon animals.  We then headed over to the park to throw the football and frisbee, where we also watched the Parade and loaded up on lots of candy.  We then headed over to ZipnTime to do some Ziplining.  We went home, had dinner and got the kids in their Jammie's and headed over to Clayton for their Charity Lane Festival of Lights.  On Sunday we went to see "A Christmas Carole" at the Habersham Community Theater.  The kids loved it.

I'm writing all of this because I hope it helps you all in planning your weekends around all of the fun free things in our area.  We really do have lots to do in Habersham, Rabun, White and Stephens counties.
