GiveAway... Take Your Kids to the Symphony

An Entertaining Family Outing

December 6, 2013

Congratulations! Our winner is Amanda Nicholson!

While a night out with the husband to go to the orchestra sounds great what about including the kids?  The benefits may surprise you.  Researchers have found that exposing your children to classical music at an early age will help with development, coordination,  rhythm, and memory. It opens their eyes to other possibilities. You are exposing them to culture, art, possibilities.
Growing up I was not exposed to art, to the symphony, to plays.  When I moved to Atlanta to attend College I was in awe.  I had no idea going to a symphony could be so moving, that art could make me see things differently, or that a play could inspire me.  Think of the possibilities if you expose these arts to your child at an early age.  They will learn to see the World differently at an early age.
When we express ourselves thru our art we are showing the World who we are and what we are capable of doing.   If a child is exposed to that option, creativity, his/her possibilities are endless.

Win Tickets so you can Take your kids to see the Toccoa Symphony's Christmas program.
